BUFFALO, N.Y. - Coquette International, an intimate apparel manufacturer based in Canada, has opened its first warehouse in the United States.
The new warehouse at 701 Seneca St. in Buffalo, N.Y., is Coquette's third facility. The company's global headquarters are in Cambridge, Ontario, and its European head office is in Eching, Germany.
Coquette will begin shipping from the 20,000-square-foot facility in New York on April 14. All of the company's U.S. orders will originate from the new warehouse, which will allow for invoices to be shipped with packages.
Marcus Horea, vice president of sales and marketing, told AVN Novelty Business that Coquette has been in expansion mode, and the new facility will help the company better serve its U.S. customers.
"We chose Buffalo because it's still close to home for us and makes it easier to ship to our valued U.S. customers," he said. "The company is growing, and we've been running out of space in the old warehouse. It was just the right time."
