FRIBOURG, Switzerland — Swiss police are investigating the claims of a girl who said she found a condom in her McDonald’s Happy Meal, MSNBC reported.
According to reports, the 7-year-old’s mother called police after making the discovery in the French fries. It was not immediately clear if the condom was still in its wrapper or not.
State police said they were investigating where the condom might have come from, how it got into the Happy Meal, and whether it posed a health risk.
Officials from McDonald’s in Switzerland have not yet commented on the alleged discovery.
