LOS ANGELES - Lubricant manufacturer Empowered Products and condom-compact maker Just In Case have teamed up to pair single-use packets of Pink lube with compacts.
According to Rachael Sudul, chief operating officer of Just In Case, the new venture is a "perfect match."
"Now, we can offer more to our customers beyond condoms," she told AVN Novelty Business. "I have always loved Pink, especially their packaging. I come from a cosmetics background, so when I saw the Italian blown-glass bottle for the first time, I thought, ‘I would leave that out on my bathroom counter and not think twice about it.' They make a fabulous product in beautiful packaging with a woman's sensibility in mind."
Sudul said the idea came from a discussion between her and Empowered Products Marketing Manager Chris Rowland at the International Lingerie Show in April.
"He spoke with us about combining the two products," Sudul explained. "Chris created the Pink single-use packets that fit perfectly into Just In Case compacts. The compacts have a mirror so you can check your makeup, too! Now, you can also carry your own lube and condom, so there is no reason to be without protection!"
The lube-and-compact combos are available for wholesale at EmpoweredProducts.com. Currently, Just In Case only offers the combo at its retail site, JustInCaseInc.com, as a free promotional gift with purchases through Oct. 15.
