Cleis Press Releases 'Rubber Sex'

SAN FRANCISCO - Cleis Press has released Rubber Sex by, a 190-page anthology of short stories focusing on the theme of rubber worn during erotic play.

The collection of stories was put together by Rachel Kramer Bussel, senior editor of Penthouse Variations and co-editor of more than 20 anthologies.

"Powerful domes in catsuits, luscious women in latex, hunky men showing off every straining inch in tight PVC-Bussel showcases a world where skin gets slipped on tightly, then polished, stroked, and caressed while the bodies inside heat up with lust," Cleis Press said. "These stories make the most of the sensual potential in getting suited up and reveal the transformations that the right costume can bring."

Bussel said she was inspired by her own experience wearing rubber, which "felt divine" and was "better than being naked."

"The first time I tried on a latex dress, I couldn't stop feeling myself up," she said. "After being generously shined to a high gloss, the gorgeous red dress gleamed, and so did I. It clung to my body in a way that let me see my curves anew, and any extra flesh I'd lamented suddenly became more fodder for this voluptuous material to caress. I never wanted to get out."

The suggested retail price of Rubber Sex is $14.95.
