PHOENIX—Once again, managers of Castle Megastores gathered in Phoenix with corporate personnel and representatives from leading manufacturers to learn about the latest product lines and top-selling techniques, as well as recognize their own for hard work and continued excellence.
Founded more than 25 year ago, Castle Megastore has grown to a chain boasting 16 stores in five states, including Alaska. Managers from the stores spent part of the annual event mingling at the Castle Megastore Expo, where tops manufacturing companies set up shop to show off their latest wares.
“It was a good experience,” said Lulu Daniels of NS Novelties. “We got to meet with all the managers and talk with them in small groups to show what’s new.”
Lucy Vonne D’Olimpio, of Evolved Novelties, echoed the endorsement of the event.
“We were able to go over the new products, as well as discuss selling techniques and get some face time with everyone in one place,” she said.
Reps from roughly 20 manufacturers exhibited at the expo, including Doc Johnson, Paradise Marketing, NS Novelties, Evolved Novelties, Jopen and CalExotics.
The event culminated with an awards dinner Friday night. In addition to incorporating a “spooky” décor theme to honor Friday the 13th, the event also featured a talented entertainer who impersonated President Barack Obama and Stevie Wonder to provide the evening's entertainment. The highlight of the dinner was the awards presentation, which recognized store staff with highest sales, highest units per transaction and more. Manufacturers were also honored as top sellers within the chain.
Mark Franks, founder of Castle Megastore, even took time to recognize representatives of adult trade publications who were in attendance.
“They have brought us together as a community and worked hard to get our names and news out there,” he said to the crowd before presenting special awards to AVN, StorErotica snd Xbiz.
The mission of Castle Megastore is to provide phenomenal customer service and a fun, friendly shopping experience for customers and personal hands-on training and access to Castle University product knowledge to its staff members.
