CalExotics Continues Fight Against Breast Cancer

CHINO, Calif.Cal Exotics, a leader in the adult novelty business, is one of a very few such companies who regularly give back to the community through charitable work and support of social programs.

In their continued support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October), CalExotics reaffirms its fight against that dreaded disease. As the industry’s only woman-founded, woman-directed company, they are especially (and in some cases, personally) aware of its devastating effects, and are donating a portion of each sale of their popular Papillon massager to Living Beyond Breast Cancer, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping sufferers of the disease recapture their self-image and sexual well-being.

“This has been an ongoing effort for over three years, and a significant amount of money has been donated to this worthwhile cause,” said Susan Colvin, founder and president of California Exotic Novelties.

“This is very much in keeping with our mission … to empower women’s lives,” added Jackie White, vice president of sales. “What could be more empowering than helping women have not just a healthy sex life – but a healthy life, period?”

Papillon is just one of literally hundreds of products developed and marketed by Colvin and her colleagues for open-minded men, women and couples.

“Breast cancer is no respecter of race, political affiliation, sexual orientation or socio-economic situation,” says Colvin, a former educator. “We’re doing our part to help eliminate that scourge.”

California Exotic Novelties encourages everyone in the retail community to order a pre-packed display of Papillon Massagers today for placement at their checkout stand (item number SE 0003-10-3).

“This attractive display sends a strong message of support,” added Al Bloom, director of marketing for California Exotic Novelties.
