Boudoir Essentials up for Sale

LOS ANGELES - Upscale feminine e-boutique Boudoir Essentials has announced its intention to entertain buyout offers.

 

"Boudoir Essentials has traveled an enormous distance since its original plans took shape in 2004," owner Karyn Cooks said. "BE was originally created as a more intimate and even flirty shopping experience for women and couples than some of the megastore or more feminist-leaning sites were offering."

 

Since its inception, Cooks said, Boudoir Essentials has enjoyed recognition from many mainstream media outlets, including Daily Candy, DrRuth.com and iVillage.

 

"This recognition gives Boudoir Essentials a strong, well-positioned foundation to continue its development, not only as an e-commerce business, but as a successful piece of a multi-channel retail play."

 

The e-boutique has hosted an annual Valentine's Day kissing contest, which has had corporate sponsors such as Big Teaze Toys, OhMiBod, Empowered Products, Shunga Erotic and Leg Avenue.

 

Boudoir Essentials has research from several customer surveys focusing on potential growth areas and maintains an affiliate program. Additionally, its tagline "Who do you want to BE?" remains a legally registered trademark.
