LOS ANGELES - Boudoir Essentials, an e-commerce site, has been sold for an undisclosed amount to Cameron and Stephanie Rowe. They have already formally taken over operations.
"The approach Boudoir Essentials takes to selecting and presenting quality sensual items was in concert with the vision we had for our future," Stephanie Rowe said. "We look forward to building on the original concept of Boudoir Essentials and continuing the superior level of customer service."
That original concept, as explained by former-owner Karyn Cooks, is to provide a luxury on-line boutique experience, at "sexy" price points, from when the customers logs on to when they receive their tissue-wrapped items in the post. "We didn't want to imitate anybody," Cooks told AVN Novelty Business.
Rowe told ANB that after working in the home party business for about a year, she wanted to expand into a higher class of product. She and her husband have been starting and owning their own businesses for over 10 years. "We're excited to expand into novelty," Rowe added.
"Cameron is going to focus on the continued development of the business, and Stephanie will adopt the role as the face of BE, replacing me as the face of BE," Cooks explained.
Cooks will stay onboard during the transition, and she and the Rowes will be attending the AVN Novelty Expo on July 14 and 15.
