LOS ANGELES - Joanna Angel, "queen of alt-porn" and founder of Burning Angel, has put together a photo book showcasing the girls of her website.
Angel, who also wrote the foreword, compiled about 700 photos of "hot and smutty porn chicks," including herself, Pixie Pearl, Jessie Lee, Pinky Lee, January Darling, Kylee Kross, Angela Ryan, Sabrina Sparx, Morgan Mae, Jade Jolie, Riley Mason, Charlotte Stokely, and Gia Paloma, as well as other well-known girls who have worked with Burning Angel.
All of the book's photos were shot by Angel's favorite staff photographer, The Lovely Brenda, on rooftops in Brooklyn and in art studios, apartments, and lofts of friends, as well as intersections in Brooklyn.
"Brend has been an important part of Burning Angel throughout the years," Angel said. "Her style has really helped make us into what we are."
About 40 Burning Angel girls are featured on the book's 360 pages, with two photos per page, in images that range from pretense-free artsy nudes to explicit shots.
The book, published by Goliath Books, appears stateside this week after a successful April launch in Europe.
