QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. - Beamonstar will release a one-a-day formula of its ExtenZe male-enhancement supplement in blister packaging on Nov. 1.
Company owner Jeff Bolanos said the one-a-day version of ExtenZe offers the same results as the original formula, which is taken twice daily and is being phased out.
"By concentrating certain ingredients in the new formula and adding DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone), we've been able to deliver the same results with one-a-day convenience," he told AVN Novelty Business.
According to MayoClinic.com, DHEA is a precursor to male and female sex hormones, and its levels in the body begin to decrease after the age of 30.
Bolanos said the company created the boxed version of ExtenZe to stay "responsive to customers' needs."
"Consumer convenience and trust were two big decision factors for us," he said. "For convenience, the pharmaceutical-style box is a lot easier to use and carry than the original bottle was. The new packaging also appeals to the consumer's desire for safety and reliability, and more accurately reflects the latest clinical studies that have been done on the product."
Beamonstar will continue selling the original one-week-supply bottles. The company also offers a boxed one-month supply in point-of-purchase displays containing six boxes and product literature.
Beamonstar's products, which have been endorsed by industry veterans Ron Jeremy and Sean Michaels, always have been clinically tested and doctor-approved, Bolanos said.
