LOS ANGELES - Woman- and couple-friendly adult retailer Babeland will host "Flirt Night" at 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at its Los Angeles store in celebration of Valentine's Day.
The event, sponsored by the alternative newspaper Los Angeles CityBeat, will feature One Key Away's e-Key, which guests will use to help find compatible dates.
Each guest will complete a personality and lifestyle questionnaire, and the answers will be programmed into the small electronic devices. Guests can point their devices at each other and push a button. The devices then exchange data, giving an instant compatibility rating.
"‘Flirt Night' draws a fun crowd, and One Key Away gives it an extra edge," Public Relations Representative Pamela Doan told AVN Novelty Business. "We want to make sure that every guest has a chance to interact with one another. When guests are ready to exchange profiles, they point the devices at each other. After they get the results, they can then decide how long they wish to speak with the other person."
To register in advance, visit OneKeyAway.com and complete the questionnaire. If the questionnaire is completed less than 24 hours before "Flirt Night," the answers should be printed out and brought to the event. The first 100 e-Key devices will be available for free.
Wine and chocolate will be served, and a resident DJ will provide romantic music.
The store is located at 7007 Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles.
