LOS ANGELES - Babeland will begin its "Make Your Own Sex Toys" event at 7:30 p.m. Friday at 7007 Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles.
Wine and cheese will be served during the night of sexy holiday craft making, which will be hosted by Julianna Parr (aka JP).
"Supplies for crafting body ticklers will be on hand, accompanied by lots of holiday cheer," said Kristen Tribby, Babeland's education and marketing coordinator. "Make your loved ones their very own handcrafted sex toy."
Participants are asked to make a $2 donation.
The store will host "Anal Sex 101: Back Door Basics" at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 13. Led by Babeland sex educators, the free session will give an introduction to anal exploration. The event will cover anatomy, toys, cleanliness, safer sex and how to get started.
The store will hold "Nina Hartley's Sexy Santa's Guide to Gift Giving" from 5-7 p.m. Dec. 15. The free event, led by Nina Hartley, will give a "whirlwind tour" of sex toys and tips for choosing sexy gifts. In six 10-minute workshops, the event will provide a "crash course" on topics such as choose a first vibrator, high-tech toys, cunnilingus, fellatio, the G-spot and anal sex. Cookies and cider will be served.
