SAN FRANCISCO—Shaye Saldana, founder of STEME, is once again expanding his team in order to expand the services that his company has to offer. The new additional not only increases the level of training and customer service by bringing a female perspective to his brand management team but also adds a female touch to this growing company.
Amy Baldwin is a recent addition to the professional sales training, education, marketing, merchandising and brand management team that is STEME. Baldwin has years of experience working in many different areas of this industry, including everything from direct consumer interaction, a knowledgeable buyers background, retailer management experience, as well as a director of marketing for an adult boutique in Santa Cruz, Calif. Along with the sales and marketing qualifications, Amy also boasts a certification as a sex educator, which is a great addition to STEME as education is a key component in the brand management process.
When asked why she decided to join Saldana and STEME, Baldwin’s response was, “I feel that it is crucial to represent a woman’s voice when it comes to marketing female-friendly products. The adult novelty industry has transitioned to focus on sexual wellness by promoting and supporting mid-range to high-end quality products geared towards the female consumer. These products and companies, such as some of STEME’s clients, are woman-designed and woman-owned companies, with quality and consciousness in mind. And while Shaye certainly knows his products and how to help them grow, many manufacturers will agree that a female viewpoint is essential in representing their brand.”
Saldana said, “ I am thrilled to have Amy as part of our team as she is on a constant pursuit for knowledge and has a drive that is incredible. Amy has proven her success with her past accomplishments and we know she will be a strong component to our growing team.”
