LONDON - Vegans tend to be pretty hardcore when it comes to their diets and clothing: No animal products ever.
Now, they can continue their animal-free ways between the sheets. Several companies have begun manufacturing vegan condoms, for the plant eater who wants to get their freak on and still be safe.
The vegan condoms are made without milk-based casein, which is commonly used in the creation of the safe-sex devices.
"Vegans might not have realized there is a milk extract in most condoms," Shanip Shah, managing director of Fusion Condoms told The Glasgow Daily Record.
Fusion Condoms is the latest company to jump on the vegan condom bandwagon; other companies producing the milk-free gear include Glyde Condoms and Condomi Condoms, according to VeganCondoms.com.
The Fusion brand will be sold in fashion stores, health food shops and pharmacies.
