HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. - Adult novelty distributor and retailer Adam&Eve has launched its "Build a Better Sex Toy" contest, which challenges inventors to create "tomorrow's top sex toy."
"For over 35 years, Adam&Eve has provided more than 10 million customers with the best sex toys available anywhere," the company said. "Now, Adam&Eve is inviting you to create the next great sex toy."
Amateur inventors are invited to design, produce and manufacture a sex toy with the help of Adam&Eve's product-development team. The winning toy will be manufactured and sold worldwide through Adam&Eve's catalog and website.
"The winning designer will be involved in production and development throughout the entire process," Adam&Eve said. "In addition, the winning sex-toy designer will be rewarded with an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the 2009 AVN Awards."
The winner also will receive the first working model of the product he or she helps produce.
Design submissions should be sent to [email protected] and must include the inventor's name, address, phone number and sex-toy idea, along with any drawings or illustrations in JPEG, GIF or PDF or formats. Adam&Eve will send email to confirm receipt of each submission.
Contest participants must be at least 18 years old.
Ideas must be submitted by Sept. 1. The winner will be announced on Sept. 30.
