UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - Organizers of the AVN Novelty Expo have announced that the 2008 show will be held at the Sheraton Universal and Universal Hilton in Universal City on July 14 and 15.
The convention, the adult-novelty industry's premier B2B event, brings together buyers and manufacturers.
"Hundreds of qualified buyers from across the U.S. and all around the world are expected at this year's event," said Marketing Manager Cindy Cheer. "The buyer base will include distributors, retailers, exporters, mail-order companies, large home-party organizers and others involved in large-volume purchases."
ANE will feature seminars, an exhibit floor, product launches and several networking opportunities.
"Organizers have designed the convention to provide networking opportunities, both within the expo walls and at special events planned around ANE," Cheer said.
Previous networking opportunities surrounding ANE have included the Bob Tremont Golf Tournament, the Free Speech Coalition's "Night of the Stars," the Lover's Choice happy hour and a poker tournament hosted by the founders of the Adult Manufacturers Novelty Expo.
Cheer said the expo will run two days instead of three, in response to requests received through post-show surveys.
The expo is sponsored by AVN Novelty Business, California Exotic Novelties, Doc Johnson, Nasstoys, Pipedream Products and Topco Sales.
Registration will begin March 1. ANE is offering complimentary registration to buyers through June 23, Cheer said.
