LAS VEGAS—The latest installment of the AVN Novelty Expo came to a close Friday, with more new exhibitors than attendees have seen in some time.
In all, The AVN Show saw 189 exhibitors, 88 of whom were new. Among them was Dwight Cleveland Postre Archive, a company that offers a variety of classic and vintage movie posters, including those of famous adult films such as Deep Throat.
Other newsbies included Efeelink Co. Ltd., which had a variety of massagers on display; Desert Harvest, which had lotions and lubricants with aloe vera as an ingreditent; Maximum Chocolate, a confectioner with erotically shaped chocolate goodies; Shanghai Rosstar and Shenyang Yirenbao Biochemcial Products Co. Ltd., manufacturers of a variety of dildos and massagers, both based in China; and Xero Lube.
No stranger to trade shows, representatives from Priced-Right-Products were in Artist Hall, the B2B area, to meet with buyers about the Boobiful Breast Enhancement Cream and Bootiful Butt Enhancement Cream.
Booty Parlor was a returning vendor to ANE, with its collection of bath and body products. Its Flirty Little Secret collection was honored with an “O” Award this year for Outstanding Body or Skin Care Line.
Dee Va also returned to ANE, with company reps treating passersby to light massages with its popular Fukuoko Glove.
Dr. Clockwork’s Home for Electrical & Medical Oddities also returned to the show floor, introducing buyers and attendees to the wonders of using electrical stimulation for pleasure.
Eldorado Trading Company once again had a major presence on the show floor, with staff members showcasing several lines from Pipedream Products, Maia Toys, CalExotics and more. Owner and founder Larry Eldorado also participated in two educational seminars for ANE, sharing his years of industry experience and knowledge with newbies.
Evolved Novelties also had a large exhibition area on the show floor with display cases filled with product from Evolved Novelties, Zero Tolerance Toys, Love Candy by Kendra and more. The manufacturer also carries lines from Shots Toys and Ouch! Toys, as well as has the licensing agreement to create products for Adam & Eve, one of the oldest and most respected companies in the industry.
Fleshlight reps informed buyers and visitors about their new Fleshlight In A Box kits, which contain a Fleshlight, Renewing Powder, cleaner, water-based lubricant and the Fleshlight Shower Mount. Daniel Pacheco, marketing manager for the company, said the kits can be customized depending on the Fleshlight included. He also noted the company has released several new Fleshlight Girl models recently, including Jenna Jameson.
The manufacturer also showcased a new leg strap that can hold a cell phone in place for men to view adult content while leaving their hands free to enjoy the Fleshlight. Pacheco said the item should be available within the next few months.
Heeldo officials made their trade show debut at ANE, even though the company has been in the industry for more than a year. The Heeldo has received plenty of attention since its debut, and is now available with new, more compact packaging, as well as several color options.
Laid—a company based in Oslo, Norway—not only introduced audiences to the C.1, the manufacturer’s first vibrating item, they also took home the “O” Award for Outstanding Product for Women.
Luv Patch was a newcomer to the adult B2B trade show, and offered pasties designed to be worn on the public mound. The press-on items come in a variety of shapes, colors and styles.
Other returning vendors included U.S. distributor National Video, and njoy, which has long been the most respected name in the adult pleasure products industry when it comes to metal pleasure objects.
Pjur and Bathmat also shared a booth, allowing buyers to hear about and see pjur’s new Sexy Six collection of lubricants and body products, as well as the Bathmate HydroMax pump. Also exhibiting in Artist Hall was Sexy Battery, which carries high-powered alkaline batteries for sex toys that retail for about $1 for AA and AAA sizes.
Revel Body, while not new to the adult industry, did attend ANE as an exhibitor for the first time. The Seattle-based technology development company focuses on sexual wellness and has created the Revel Sonic, a sonic vibrator that offers more than three times the vibration range of today’s battery-operated vibrators.
Rounding out the exhibitors in the Artist Hall were U & A Nature/Rhino USI, and Videotel Inc., which which provides adult stores with video booths, as well as carries the Elator, a customizable product designed to help with erectile disfunction and is also available in pre-set sizes for adult retailers.
