UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – Organizers of the AVN Novelty Expo, scheduled for July 13-15 at the Universal Sheraton and Hilton Los Angeles hotels, have announced only two booths remain for the show.
Built around the theme "ANE is the One," this year's AVN Novelty Expo lives up to its motto by attracting not only the high volume novelty buyers that exhibitors have come to expect, but also a wide range of smaller specialized buyers, ranging from fetish to mainstream. What do they all have in common? The knowledge that only ANE offers them such an incredible diversity of products, many of which are making their debut at the industry's premier expo.
This year, ANE is sponsored by System JO, We-Vibe, Big Teaze Toys, Evolved Novelties, Fun Factory, LELO, The Screaming O, and Spartacus Enterprises. In addition to those companies, several leading adult companies are returning to the show, and various new companies will also be exhibiting. Simply Blown, a Los Angeles-based company, will launch during this year’s expo, exhibiting its new line of hand-crafted glass items created in the Italian style of glass blowing. Emotional Bliss will also showcase the company’s products, including re-launching its Heat Range line.
A list of scheduled exhibitors can be found at AVNNoveltyExpo.com/index.php?center=exhibitlist.
In addition to first-time exhibitors, several returning vendors have increased their booth sizes this year to take advantage of the networking and business opportunities that can only be had at ANE.
In addition to the unveiling of new products, the upcoming AVN Novelty Expo features an expanded twist on the popular "ANE Boot Camp," a series of seminars designed to transform the economic downturn into a revenue-generating powerhouse. Whether you're looking for new ways to get more press coverage or discover the latest trends in sexual health issues, these profit-motivated panels run the gamut.
Show management expects this year to bring record numbers of qualified volume buyers, as well as a new breed of boutique retailers, including those from the mainstream. Last year, ANE brought more than 150 exhibitors together with 1,000-plus exceptional buyers, and 2009 promises to deliver even more.
"Again and again, buyers tell me they come to ANE to see the new, quality products from unique manufacturers, products that appeal to their growing client base of health-conscious women and couples looking for something beyond the usual mass-marketed products," said Tony Lovett, publisher of AVN Novelty Business.
