CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Hot on the heels of its successful release of the Real Touch, which features state-of-the-art haptic technology, AEBN has joined forces with Blu Cigs to release a line of electronic cigarettes.
Blue Cigs use an atomizer and a small, rechargeable battery that’s roughly the length and width of a traditional cigarette. Flavor cartridges resembling “filter tips” that contain nicotine – high, light, ultra light, and no levels – are attached to the unit. When the user inhales, the atomizer releases the nicotine and flavorings (traditional, java, cherry, menthol, and vanilla) through a mist of water vapor. Rather than exhaling smoke, the user exhales water vapor.
Each flavor cartridge last for 130-160 puffs, about the same as 15 traditional cigarettes.
Often referred to as e-cigarettes, the items are gaining popularity in that they can be used in places – such as bars, restaurants, or airplanes – where traditional cigarettes are banned.
AEBN is distributing the Blu Cigs, which are available at BluCigs.com. A starter kit retails for $59.95, while refill flavor cartridges are $5.
