A Sik Take on Valentine's Day

SAN DIEGO - Sik World Productions, a leading producer of attitude-based novelty clothing and accessories, is getting ready for day the company loves to hate.

Jaysun Chall, president of Sik World, told AVN Novelty Business that he has a love-hate relationship with Valentine's Day.

"There's a large contingency of anti-Valentine's Day people out there who believe it's a holiday invented by a greeting card company whose cold, profit-driven hearts only feel love when they're pulling in the dough," he said. "Then there are those on the other side of the condom, those that see the holiday of amour as one where even if you haven't got laid all month, this one night you're sure to get lucky."

Chall said Sik World can cater to both camps.

"Valentine's Day is one of those awkward holidays," he said. "Some people really get into it, and others couldn't give a rat's ass. So we take the approach that the customer is always entitled to getting laid."

For lovers who have a special someone this year, Sik World offers apparel gifts designed to express inner desires explicitly, Chall said.

"Everyone knows what the final outcome of Valentine's Day is supposed to be: two people in bed having great sex," he explained. "So why bother with hints and wasting money on some lame card that skirts around the point? With our stuff, you can just cut right to the chase. Give your Valentine a T-shirt that says ‘All I want for Valentine's Day is a blowjob,' and believe me, you'll leave no room for misunderstanding."

For customers who view the day as a conspiracy, Sik World offers T-shirts with slogans such as "I fucked your valentine" and "Valentine's Day is for fucking pussies."

Since Sik World's garments may not offer the exact message some customers want to convey, Chall added, the company has created special gift packages to satisfy any Valentine's Day preference.

"If you think about it, almost any of our Sik shit can be adapted for Valentine's Day," he said. "It just really depends on what it is you want to say and what you want to accomplish that night in bed."
