PRAGUE, Czech Republic—According to a report on the website The Real Porn WikiLeaks (TRPWL), several performers who have recently worked at the LegalPorno.com studios have been diagnosed as having been infected with syphilis, with the first infection having been reported on October 15.
The names of the infected individuals have not been released, in keeping with American medical privacy laws.
According to actor/director Mick Blue, who just returned to the U.S. from his and wife Anikka Albrite's attendance at the Venus Berlin show, "I've heard there was an outbreak, and I hope that any agents who've had clients work in Prague will get them tested immediately."
At press time, it was not known if any American performers had been working in Prague over the past week, and so far, there are no reports of American performers having contracted the disease.
"Our adult industry protocols utilize the highest quality syphilis tests available and our protocols will continue to protect performers," noted Diane Duke, CEO of Free Speech Coalition and overseer of the PASS system. "All adult performers utiilizing our system are tested every 14 days, and more often if circumstances warrant it. We suggest that anyone who is concerned about their health status, and in particular, any performers who have recently returned from working overseas, should get tested immediately. The safety of adult talent is our highest priority."
