Reports: Interpol Issues Arrest Warrant for Lupe Fuentes

LOS ANGELES—According to numerous Spanish-language news reports, Interpol is seeking the arrest of Lupe Fuentes in connection with a child pornography investigation into the activities of her ex-husband, Pablo Lapiedra.

The investigation into Lapiedra began in late 2008 when the Technological Investigation Brigade (BIT) of Spain, Colombia’s National Police and Interpol uncovered a teenage prostitution ring in which one of its members, a 16-year-old Colombian girl, appeared in pornographic films for Lapiedra, according to ColombiaReports.com.

The multi-agency investigation into Lapiedra was prompted by a complaint from a school in Medellin, Colombia, after it surfaced that one of its students, the 16-year-old girl, appeared in a porn video. According to ElPeriodico.com, Lapiedra was identified as the cameraman in the videos.

The scenes in question appeared on PabloLapiedra.com, Zuleidy.com and ZuleidyLapiedraStar.com, according to ElPais.com—sites registered to his former wife, Colombian citizen Zuleidy Piedrahita, aka Lupe Fuentes.

Fuentes, a white-hot sensation in the U.S. adult film industry and current Wicked Pictures contract star, is divorced from Lapiedra and now lives in the U.S.

According to the AFP, the student testified, "Zuleidy was by colleges in Medellín and Bello, offering the students to participate in films.

"Before appearing in the video [the girl] was made to sign some papers which have a different name and pretended to be older.”

Lapiedra was arrested late last week in Spain. According to WRadio.com.co, he deceived the girls by telling them the videos he wanted them to appear in were for a “casting call” and then provided them with false documentation so they could pass for legal age.

A Colombian judge will decide on Monday if Lapiedra will be extradited to Spain.

At press time Fuentes' official site, ILoveLupe.com, was offline.

Fuentes had not responded to a request for comment at post time.
