ORLANDO, Fla.—Industry attorney Lawrence G. Walters’ mobile app, Quick2257, is now allowing content creators to generate an optional Consent Form in addition to the 2257 compliance form.
The mobile app, published by Walters of Walters Law Group, offers adult producers and performers the ability to create a legally-compliant Section 2257 form with integrated images of the performer’s identification cards and a “selfie” verification photo.
The new update is designed to address the recent consent documentation requirement imposed by various online platforms. “With this update, models will be able to quickly generate both a 2257 document and Consent Form which includes the typical information demanded by the platform operators,” Walters said. “Our goal was to simplify these legal requirements and allow everything to be generated in less than two minutes.”
The updated Quick2257 app will now allow users to create two separate forms which can then be saved to the device or mailed to the records keeper. The new Consent Form contains information such as the creator’s name and username, along with the name and authorized account of the platform where the content may be published. The creator can also limit the duration of the publication to a specific date or authorize permanent publication of the content on the specified platform/account.
The new update also allows users to choose photos from the camera roll and enhances the size and resolution of the images attached to the 2257 document. When using the app, content creators can remain focused on creating valuable content without spending a lot of time drafting legal documents and forms.
The Quick2257 app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
