Judge Orders Mental Evaluation of Ron Jeremy Ahead of Trial

LOS ANGELES—A Los Angeles Superior Court judge today asked for veteran adult performer Ron Jeremy to be mentally evaluated ahead of an April 1 mental health hearing related to his upcoming trial on multiple rape charges, according to Deadline.

Judge George Lomeli ordered the mental evaluation so the results could be examined at the April 1 hearing after lawyers and court officials called Jeremy “incoherent” during today’s early morning session. The judge said he hoped the evaluations would help determine whether the accused is competent to stand trial.

Jeremy has been held in downtown Los Angeles’ Twin Towers Correctional Facility since his June 2020 arrest.
