Judge Dismisses Motion To Block Not The Bradys, Spunk'd Party

LOS ANGELES - A Superior Court judge struck down a motion filed by the Knitting Factory's landlord to stop an adult industry party from happening on the premises this Saturday night.

Jeff Mullen organized the party with his All Media Play/X-Play partner Scott David to celebrate his LFP blockbuster Not the Bradys XXX and the 6969 Entertainment release Spunk'd. The landlord requested an injunction against the Knitting Factory's management, claiming that porn parties violate the terms of the club's lease.

"The judge based his findings on the fact that we had already thrown one hell of a porn party without incident for SexZ Pictures' Decline of Western Civilization and also that the Knitting Factory hosted the LA Erotic Film Festival without incident," Mullen told AVN. "What it means is we can have the party, we're going to move the red carpet inside the club, we're going to be a good neighbor and not bother anyone, and we're going to throw one hell of a party for Not the Bradys and Spunk'd."

The party will go on as scheduled, with doors set to open at 9 p.m. Mullen has added the cast of his X-Play/LFP opus Britney Rears 4: Britney Goes Gonzo to the festivities.

"This night will double as a release party for Britney Rears 4," Mullen said. "The judge saw no reason to discriminate against it.....so the party goes on, and i want it to be as wild as ever. What I have learned from this is: I am really ready to party!"

The Knitting Factory7 is located at 7021 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, Calif.
