PORN VALLEY—The Free Speech Coalition is organizing an all-industry meeting for members of the adult community at the Sportsman’s Lodge in Studio City.
Performers, producers, distributors and others who work in the industry are strongly encouraged to come. The meeting will last from 4 to 6 p.m.
The November 15 gathering takes place a week after members of the adult community celebrated the defeat of Proposition 60—a victory due in no small part to the efforts of the FSC team.
But FSC’s Eric Paul Leue cautions that the industry must not lose sight of other threats on the horizon.
“While we have achieved an incredible victory with Prop. 60, the upcoming Cal/OSHA regulatory process and the rising threat of obscenity prosecutions on a federal level mean that we must remain vigilant, and not lose the momentum and power we’ve fostered,” said Leue, the executive director of FSC. “Our biggest fights are still ahead.”
