HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.—MMA fighter Tito Ortiz was arrested by Huntington Beach police Monday morning following a 911 call reporting a domestic disturbance in the home Ortiz shares with his partner, former adult star Jenna Jameson, and their children.
TMZ broke the news and currently has a video clip posted to its site showing Ortiz being led from his home and placed into a patrol car, his hands cuffed behind his back under a jacket. The site also has reported that it was Jameson’s father who made the 911 call reporting the incident.
“Are you getting arrested, Tito?” the TMZ cameraman asked Ortiz as he was being led from the home.
“No,” replied Tito.
“Why are your hands handcuffed? Is it domestic violence?”
“Nope,” said Tito.
“Are you sure?”
“Positive.”
“Why are you handcuffed?” Ortiz declined to answer the last question before being placed in the patrol car, which then left the scene.
Another TMZ video posted to the site shortly after the one showing Ortiz being arrested catches up to Jameson as she is sitting in the driver’s seat of a white minivan with an older man, presumably her father, in the passenger seat.
“Are you okay?” asked the same cameraman.
Yeah, I’m okay,” said Jameson, clearly upset.
“So what happened?”
“Um … I can’t really talk about it right know,” she said, starting to cry.
“Did he hit you? Are you okay? Are you going to be okay?”
“Yeah, I’m okay,” she repeated, regaing her composure.
“Are you going to be all right?”
“Yeah, I’m going to be all right.”
“Are you pressing charges? Are you going to go through with this?”
“Of course,” she said, nodding affirmatively.
“I just want to know you’re okay.” Another person off-camera then asked, “Are the babies okay?”
“The babies are all right,” she replied. “Everything’s okay. He’s in jail.”
“Yeah, he’s in jail,” the cameraman said. “He’s definitely in jail. Good luck.”
She then backed the van out of the driveway and pulled away, crying. The couple’s twins did not appear to be in the minivan. An hour later, shortly before 2 p.m. PST, TMZ posted a photo of Jameson leaving a CVS drugstore wearing a medical brace on her right arm, covering her elbow.
AVN.com is attempting to contact Jameson for further comment, and has also left a message with the Huntington Police Department seeking more information about Ortiz's status.
