SAN FRANCISCO—Porn producers spend a lot of energy, time and money promoting niche content and big asses is one of the most popular niches out there. Add in big asses from Brazil and the enticement is almost too much for many to resist. But resist many of them may wish they had if they wound up downloading Third World Media’s Miss Big Ass Brazil 4 without paying for it.
Specifically, 1,568 John Does identified by Third World as illegal infringers will have a problem, as they all have been sued in a Northern California court, charged with copyright infringement. As with other John Doe cases, Third World does not yet know the names of the individual Does, but has identified them by IP addresses assigned to them by their internet service providers.
“The IP address of each Defendant, together with the date and time at which his, her or its infringing activity was observed, is included on Exhibit A which is attached hereto,” read the complaint.
The ISPs listed in Exhibit A include major networks such as Comcast, Verizon, Cox, RoadRunner and AT&T, to name a few.
The complaint was filed by Beverly Hills attorney Ira M. Siegel. The presiding judge is Laurel Beeler.
