The Once and Future Violet Blue Holds a 'Reclaim the Name' Benefit Concert

HOQUIAM, Wash. — NoName Jane, the Artist Formerly Known as Violet Blue, is still mired in a name trademark controversy with author Violet Blue, the Artist Formerly Known as Wendy Sullivan ... and the legal expenses for one of porn's favorite personalities (and 2001's Best New Starlet) continue to mount.

So what better way to raise cash than to hold a benefit concert? Of course, it's in a slightly-out-of-the-way location — Hoquiam, WA, about 80 miles west-southwest of Seattle, on Gray's Harbor on the Pacific coast — but if you're free Friday night (Sept. 26) and in the mood for a sexy show with some hot bands, why not mosey on over to 706 Simpson Ave. in Hoquiam? It'll only cost you five bucks to get in!

Here's how Violet/Jane herself describes the event:

"Hello All! I've posted a photo of the flyer for the upcoming benefit show in the photos section of the group under 'Noname Jane Benefit Show.' This show is to help raise money to pay my lawyer and other court costs for an ongoing legal battle between me and the author Violet Blue. Me and Violet Blue have shared the same name for the last 8 years. In 2007, while I was pregnant with my daughter she trademarked the name without my knowledge. Soon afterwards she presented me with a lawsuit a mile long, out of Northern California Federal Court. For more information on the lawsuit please visit my wikipedia page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noname_Jane. Thanks!
