Tattoo Shop Raid Finds Adult Product in Secret Room

Acting on a tip, area authorities raided Earrings and More, a local tattoo and body-piercing studio, on Tuesday and arrested store owner Susan Russell on investigation of 15 counts of dealing pornographic material.

The charge is a third-degree felony.

Police reported that they came across pornographic items in a secret back room. Clifford Whittaker was also booked on investigation of two counts of dealing pornographic material.

"Thousands of items of hard-core pornography, including videos, DVDs, books and magazines… all were being sold out of a back office out of this business," St. George Police Sergeant Craig Harding, told The Spectrum.

Lieutenant Scott Staley, who is handling the case, told the report more than 1,000 items have been found and that Russell could face an individual charge for each pornographic item that was sold or found with intent to be sold.
