'Storage Wars' Star Wins Judgment Against Hunter Moore

LOS ANGELES—Brandi Passante, a featured player on A&E's Storage Wars, has won her lawsuit against the former owner of Is Anyone Up, which posted a porn video and pictures on its site falsely claiming to feature her.

Judge James V. Selna of U.S. District Court in central California awarded Passante only $750 in a default judgment against the notorious Hunter Moore, former operator of "revenge porn" site IsAnyoneUp.com.

Passante also levied a number of charges against Moore, including false designation of origin, defamation, false light invasion of privacy and disparagement, suing him to the tune of $2.5 million in actual and exemplary damages.

The 33-year-old Passante also had sought $5,250 in statutory damages but Selna ruled that since she couldn't prove damages, he awarded only $750 plus attorneys' fees.

Passante has the option to submit a renewed application or actual damages within 30 days of the judge's order.
