Sportsheets International’s newest catalog is now available to distributors and retailers.
The 24-page glossy catalog provides updated information on Sportsheets’ inventory of more than 200 items, including the new harnesses and restraint devices that the novelty manufacturer introduced at July’s Adult Novelty Expo.
The catalog also incorporates Sportsheets recent packaging design overhaul. Approximately 50 items, primarily restraint and positionary devices, have been repackaged since Sportsheets’ last catalog, which was released in January.
The new packaging moves women to the forefront and places them in a more dominant position. Todd Carter, Sportsheets’ Director of Sales and Marketing, points to the packaging on the Sexy Slave Kit as an example. “The male model is shown wearing the collar, while the female model is holding the leash. We’re portraying the woman as a morethan equal participant in the use of our novelties.”
Carter notes that when couples shop together, women tend to be the decision makers for adult novelty purchases. “Our products are meant for couples, and that means we need to make every effort to make our products as appealing to women as possible. Some women object to women being portrayed in submissive positions.”
Reaching out to couples also requires that Sportsheets use couples for their packaging. Katie Morgan and Kris Slater are paired together as a couple, as are Alektra Blue and Sarge Logan.
“While our models aren’t couples in real life, we like to pair them off together to reinforce our brand’s couple’s friendly image,” Carter explained.
The catalog also provides information on the Sportsheets Demonstration DVD, a free demonstrational DVD that features seven of Sportsheets’ most popular restraint and positionary devices.
