NORWALK, Ohio – Ohio State Representative Mike Barrett is blaming his son for some porn that showed up during a Powerpoint presentation he was giving at a local high school. According to a recent report, when Barrett inserted a data memory stick into a computer, the projected image of a nude woman appeared on the screen.
After the school’s technology director inspected the memory stick, a whole directory of nude images was discovered.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol confiscated the memory stick and at least one school computer for examination, according to WKYC-TV News. Investigators also interviewed Barrett as well as some of the students in the class.
Initially, Barrett told investigators and reporters that he didn’t know where the images had come from, but preliminary results of the investigation determined that Barrett’s son had a role in the nude directory.
Barrett then released a statement saying, “From what we’ve learned thus far, this is an internal family matter. We would appreciate respect for our privacy as we deal with this situation.”
According to WKYC-TV, Norwalk police have taken over the investigation from the highway patrol.
