BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Hustler founder Larry Flynt told the Associated Press Wednesday that he has several more leads on embarrassing sexual activities involving members of Congress in response to his June ad offering $1 million in exchange for information about sexual indiscretions on Capitol Hill.
The latest in Flynt's sex probes is Senator David Vitter (R-La.). Vitter issued a public statement Monday, admitting a link to a Washington D.C. escort service, after Hustler contacted him with some damning phone records.
"We've got 20-some investigations that all look good," Flynt told the Associated Press during a news conference. "We have got some high-ranking Republican and Democratic members of the Senate and the House. If I get just a couple of those phonies out of there, maybe it will be a step forward.
Vitter has since stayed absent from his Congressional duties; missing two days of committee hearings and voting sessions.
"This is payback time," Flynt said. "I'm not exposing anyone's sex life. ... I'm only exposing the hypocrisy."
