CINCINNATI — The announcement read simply, "The law firm of Sirkin, Pinales & Schwartz LLP is pleased to announce that Jennifer M. Kinsley has been named a Partner. Ms. Kinsley focuses her paractice in the areas of First Amendment, Civil Rights, and Criminal Defense."
But that announcement is indeed a bit too simple.
Kinsley, whom prominent First Amendment attorney H. Louis Sirkin has described as "one of the brightest young attorneys I've ever worked with," has served as "second seat" on many of Sirkin's cases for the past several years, and has herself a thriving practice defending adult entertainment venues.
Kinsley joins the firm's other four partners — Sirkin, Martin Pinales, Howard Schwartz and Laura Abrams — as well as three associates: John Feldmeier, Candace Crouse and Scott Nazzarine.
"It's definitely an honor, and I'm excited about the opportunity," Kinsley said when asked about the elevation, adding in a mock-serious tone, "I think I've signed my life away."
