LOS ANGELES—Evil Angel owner John Stagliano on Wednesday taped a segment on the subject of the First Amendment in New York for John Stossel's show "Stossel" for Fox Business network. The episode will air for the first time at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. PST today, and re-air on Saturday and Sunday.
Stagliano is currently being prosecuted by the federal government in an obscenity trial for the distribution of two movies and a movie trailer. He was indicted in April 2008; the trial is scheduled to begin in Washington D.C. on July 7. Stagliano faces up to 32 years in prison and millions in fines. Also appearing on the show with Stagliano are Judge Andrew Napolitano and Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the author of "Infidel." A synopsis of the May 20 episode from the FOX Business site reads:
"Congress shall make no law..." begins the First Amendment. What a concept! Congress should pass NO law. How often do we hear that today? Not often enough.
