PANAMA CITY, Fla. — For three years Joe Francis has been battling charges that his company videotaped underage girls in Florida, but today the Girls Gone Wild mogul is free.
According to celebrity gossip site TMZ.com, Francis, in a Panama City court appearance, agreed to a plea arrangement that will keep him out of jail on those charges.
TMZ reported that Francis made a plea of no contest to the charges of videotaping underage girls, and was sentenced to time served.
There was also the stipulation that the Girls Gone Wild video series cannot shoot footage in the region for three years.
As part of the arrangement, Bay County, Fla., will return Francis's Ferrari and $60,000, which was confiscated from him last year.
Not surprisingly, Francis told TMZ, "I'm happy to be done with Bay County."
