CANOGA PARK, Calif. - The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) will release its first-ever annual report next week, including a review of the organization's accomplishments in 2008, plans for the rest of the year and a financial audit.
The report will be sent to FSC members on Tuesday and available to the public on FSC's website on Wednesday.
"This report is especially significant not only because it is the first of its kind for FSC, but also because it includes FSC's audited financials," said FSC executive director Diane Duke. "For those who have requested transparency from FSC, here it is--our financials--as presented by an outside auditor."
The Coalition plans to continue providing the report each year directly to members, and on the web for others who may have an interest.
"We at FSC never want to take our members for granted; we understand that trust and respect must be earned," Duke said. "What could be more respectful and trusting than letting our members know how we invest their membership dollars?"
