CANOGA PARK, Calif. - The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) today released details of its annual gala fundraising event. Set for Saturday, Oct. 11 at Universal Studios' Globe Theater, this year's event has been dubbed the Election 2008 Bash.
"We are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel after eight years of an oppressive administration," said FSC executive director Diane Duke. "I know that there are no guarantees with the next administration, but we really must celebrate the end of the Bush era."
FSC will recognize four distinguished contributors to the adult industry with special awards. Rondee Kamins of Transworld News will receive the Woman of the Year award, Scott Coffman of AEBN will be honored as Man of the Year and Sureflix Digital Distributing will receive Business of the Year. Harry Mohney of Déjà vu will receive the FSC Legacy Award.
"It will be an incredible party where we will honor some of our industry's best and brightest in an atmosphere of glamour, fun, and laughter--an event worthy of this great industry and the professionals that make it successful," said Duke.
