TAMPA—Adult webmaster Dirty D, who was arrested Tuesday by Florida law enforcement after returning to the United States from Spain, posted bail in the amount of $200,000 Wednesday night and was released from jail at approximately 5 p.m., according to a source close to the case.
Dirty D, whose real name is Michael Storm, was arrested on two counts of use of a child in a sexual performance and two counts of promotion of a sexual performance by a child, reports TBO.com. In February, two members of Storm’s camera crew, Stephen Chastain, 36, and Ryan Holtz, 24, also were arrested and charged with two counts of promotion of a sexual performance by child. They posted bail at the time in the amount of $20,000 and were released.
As reported last month, the charges stem from accusations made—apparently by a female performer who has used several aliases in the industry, including Kelsey Cummings—that the three defendants encouraged her to use a fake ID in order to shoot sexually explicit scenes. She reportedly alleges that she was 17 at the time of the shoot, which Storm told AVN took place sometime before October in 2008.
Regarding the allegations that he or his crew knew the performer was underage at the time of the shoot, Storm told AVN last month, “It never happened. Neither me nor any of my crew ever asked her for a fake ID. That simply never happened.”
Storm's counter-allegation, which he made as far back as Dec. 2008, is that the performer knowingly and fraudently used a fake ID.
"This situation was first brought to our attention from an anonymous post on Craigslist," Storm told AdultFYI. "We immediately verified our releases/IDs and made copies. A valid Florida drivers license was indeed provided to us and the model was over 18 years old. The information on the signed release matches the Florida drivers license. We have made the copies available to local law enforcement in case there has been an identity theft and will be happy to cooperate with any state or federal officials as well."
AVN has a call in to Storm’s attorney seeking further comment.
