AUCKLAND, New Zealand - The Auckland City Council has approved the annual Boobs on Bike Parade to take place on Wednesday as a lead-in to the Erotica Lifestyles Expo. Organizers predict the motorcade of topless porn stars will attract over 100,000 spectators.
The parade, which travels down the city’s main street and has included adult performers such as Carmen Hart and Jessica Drake, is viewed as the biggest event of its kind in New Zealand this year.
Parade organizer Sandy Watts told SAWF News that this is the first year that the city council has approved the parade without any objection. Watts said that organizers, who had met with council staff on several occasions to discuss the parade, were happy with the result.
The parade will not go off without any objections, as ultra-conservative family groups like Family First NZ publicly objected to the council’s decision.
Family First NZ National Director Bob McCoskrie told SAWF that the group is calling for an urgent resolution of the council revoking the permit.
The Erotica Lifestyles Expo runs this Friday through Sunday. Porn stars scheduled to appear include Summer Haze, Nina Mercedez, Tyler Faith, Jan Maree, Phoenix Night, Pamela Sandersin, the Men of Steel and Evan Stone.
