APAC Updates Website With Performer Resource Info

LOS ANGELES—The Adult Performer Advocacy Committee (APAC) has added a directory to its website (apac-usa.com) of industry-friendly resources available to talent for a wide variety of needs.

The service providers listed in the directory include attorneys, accountants, doctors, therapists and insurance outfits all recommended by fellow performers. APAC created the directory to aid talent in seeking out the type of cousel it advises all performers to utilize in its "Porn 101" video.

Stated APAC vice president Chanel Preston, "Sex work is so stigmatized that it can be difficult for us performers to find professionals that are supportive and understanding towards the work we do. These resources are finally availbale to help performers easily find professionals they can trust without the worry of judgement."

Access to APAC's resource directory, its performer-only forum and voting in its current election for second-year board members may be obtained by signing up for membership to the APAC site. To do so, performers must click on the site's Members tab and fill out the short form that follows. The members section of the site is open only to talent so as to maintain focus on performer concerns.
