Kenneth Connin had never appeared in a gay porn video before his starring role in a new Himeros production, but he had always dreamed of doing gay porn. There was only one thing holding him back: Connin is a quadriplegic.
Now, Connin has sent what he calls a positive message by fulfilling his dream despite his injury—suffered in a competitive cheerleading accident at age 18—as he stars in a new video from the company headed by popular gay YouTube star Davey Wavey. The video, “Facefuck Me,” co-stars veteran performer Pierce Paris.
“Just because I’m injured and I have certain limitations doesn’t mean that I don’t still enjoy pleasure and I don’t still enjoy touch,” Connin told Davey Wavey in an interview quoted by Gay Star News. “Outside of my wheelchair, I’m just like everybody else.”
As the short video’s title implies, the scene largely consists of Connin performing fellatio on Pierce, but Davey Wavey said, according to Towelroad, that he sees the scene as having a greater significance beyond its purely sexual appeal. The video is a story “about two men who share an ecstatic connection; they show up, come together and bring pleasure to each other,” he described.
“It’s like many of the videos we’ve filmed for Himeros.tv. But in one other way, it’s quite different. And it may be unlike any other erotic video that you’ve seen,” the YouTube star turned gay porn impresario said. “Kenneth, one of the models, is paralyzed from the biceps down; he’s a quadriplegic. And he happens to love face-fucking.”
“I hope that people understand from watching my scene that it’s OK to have sex—whether you’re disabled or not,” said Connin, who chose to star in the film using his given name, forgoing a nom-du-porn. “I want able-bodied people to know that just because someone has a disability, that doesn’t mean they no longer have a sex life.”
