MIAMI - Patrick Curran has joined the IntenseCash team.
Curran, a seven-year adult-industry veteran who previously held positions with both CCBill and Epoch, will manage and moderate IntenseCash's webmaster board, GayMainStreet, which the company acquired in 2007.
Curran had decided to retire from the adult industry following his recent departure from Epoch in order to focus on other endeavors, but a fortuitous convergence of events changed his mind, he said.
"I have had the pleasure to travel and meet with so many great people because of the adult industry, and it was very difficult for me just to retire and turn my back on such a great industry with so many talented individuals," he said.
Mark Erickson of IntenseCash added, "I guess timing is everything, and when I found out that Patrick was retiring, I called him up and asked him if he could help us with our GayMainStreet webmaster board. He was delighted to help."
Curran started his career in the adult industry in 2000 as vice president of operations for CCbill, one of the adult industry's major credit card processing companies. He left CCbill in 2006 to become chief administrative officer at Epoch.
"I have known Patrick for a long time, and it is such an honor to have him as a part of our team," Erickson said. "He is very well respected throughout the industry."
