With a slender yet buff physique, a boyish face, a sweet smile and a passion for superheroes—especially Aquaman—Nic Sahara comes across as the boy next door from Smalltown, USA.
In fact, he is from a small town—one that made the national news in 2018. Sahara grew up in the Sierra Nevada foothill town of Paradise, which was devastated in the most deadly and destructive fire in California’s history.
“My family actually still lived there, so all of our family homes and all of their possessions just went up in flames,” Sahara says. In November, he traveled back home, bringing provisions. “I was focused on getting my family in a good place,” he explains. He arranged for a Thanksgiving dinner “so they could feel a sense of normalcy.”
Sahara came to Los Angeles in the fall of 2018, after spending some time in Nevada. “I moved to Las Vegas from the San Francisco Bay Area and I think that move opened me up as far as being a bit more social,” Sahara recalls. “It broadened my horizons.”
And, he adds, “That’s where I started doing porn.”
Sahara is back in Las Vegas this weekend to serve as a trophy boy at the 2019 GayVN Awards, joining Jacen Zhu and Dylan Hayes on stage to hand out golden statuettes to the winners.
Sahara elaborates, “My very first shoot was with Icon Male and my first scene partner ever was Billy Santoro.” And he also met Dominic Pacifico, who introduced him to Chris Crisco of Choice Talent Management.
“An absolutely wonderful, wonderful man. I couldn’t ask for a better agent,” Sahara says.
In fact, Sahara is pretty quick to praise many of the people he’s worked with during his first year in the business. “I’ve been so very fortunate that I’ve gotten along with every single producer I’ve worked with. There’s never been any type of issue,” he says.
Sahara notes that director Nica Noelle—who shot his first scene—was “as sweet as pie. … I’ve done 12 scenes with Icon, and I’ve done stuff with Men.com.”
Another big-name company he worked with recently is Falcon Studios, shooting the upcoming movie The Pledge, directed by Chi Chi LaRue and Tony Dimarco. “It’s a remake of an older title … from back in the ’90s,” Sahara says. “It was a brilliant idea—the cast was absolutely amazing.”
“I did two scenes for a movie,” he says. One scene is a gangbang in which he teams up with Devin Franco, Trevor Miller, Colton Reece, Brandon Wilde and Zak Bishop. The other is a one-on-one with Bishop.
“Most of the time I’ve done scenes here and there—this was my first full-fledged movie where I had two scenes going into the movie. It was my first big production.” Getting the chance to do some dialogue and acting “was a lot of fun.” Sahara comments, “Ironically, I was the oldest one on set as far as the performers go. The next person down was six years younger than me.”
Indeed, Sahara definitely looks the part of a college student, even though he’s left his early twenties behind. “That, I’m blessed with,” he says. “All the boys in my family, we look super young. I guess that’s good family genetics.”

It’s either that, or Sahara’s passion for exercise and physical activity. “I did play sports when I was younger,” he said, ticking off the games he played: softball, football, soccer, track, volleyball and basketball. “When I’m not traveling, I love going to the gym. It’s my second home. That’s my alone time. I’ll put in my headphones and go hit the weights.”
The Pledge was not Sahara’s first time working with LaRue. He first met the director on a scene for NoirMale.com with Trent King and Dillon Diaz. “That one was my first time ever working with Chi Chi,” Sahara says, noting how much he appreciated the director’s attention to detail and to presenting the performers in a positive light. “That was my first cuckold experience—it was a very fun, experimental thing for me,” Sahara says. “And it was the first black guy that I’ve ever slept with and I got two of them at the same time. … Everyone was super, super friendly and amazing.”
Sahara also spent time with LaRue on the road, appearing in a club event, the 12 Gays of XXXmas, that was organized by the director. “Honestly, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had,” Sahara said. “It was a cool group we had there. … I mean, that was really flattering to me. I was in the same thing as Skyy Knox, Johnny V. and Alam Wernik, first of all. They’re the top rated. … Same with Remy [Cruze] and DeAngelo [Jackson]. Those guys are big ball players. It was surreal.” And he also waxes enthusiastic about working with Beau Banks: “He’s very passionate. That’s what I love about him.”
Sahara finds plenty to love in many of his fellow stars. Asked which performers he’s most eager to work with, Sahara laughs and says, “The list is really long.”
“Danny Gunn would be one of them. Manuel Skye would be one of them,” he says. “I have a wide range of people that I think are attractive and features that I think are attractive. So for Manuel Skye, I love his body style. Danny Gunn, he has a cute body style, but his eyes totally get me each and every time.”
He’s also interested in a wide range of studios. “I would love to work with Marc MacNamara as a producer—I see his work and I think it’s absolutely wonderful. I would love to work with CockyBoys as a company. … I would love to keep working with Men.com. And Falcon—the whole studio group, really. As I grow older, going into Raging Stallion or something of that sort, I think that would be phenomenal.”
