Next Door Films Debuts 'Writer's Block'

LOS ANGELES—Alpha Studio Group has released “Writer’s Block,” the fourth scene released under its new Next Door Studios banner.

The action opens with studious author Nico Coopa seeking relief for a mind numbing case of writer’s block by staying at his friend’s hillside retreat. But he wonders if the new environment will distract him or provide inspiration (and maybe more) from young Jack Bailey.

“'Writer’s Block' was one of the films I have had the most fun directing,'' said director Walden Woods. “With Nico leading the charge and Jack Bailey being the best distraction ever, we all came together to create a blockbuster. Brandon Anderson did a great job as the innocent guy on the side, however our team really made a movie worth watching. I cannot wait for y'all to see this film.”

The scene, written by Dalton King, is available now at NextDoorStudios.com.

“Just a delight to work on; I couldn’t be happier to see it realized. 'Writer’s Block' has to be the best written piece I’ve been a part of with Next Door Studios," Coopa said. "Stellar work from Dalton King. Just utterly fun and charming. Getting to work with Brandon Anderson for the first time was fantastic, though cruelly in a non-sexual capacity. I don’t think I need to expound on the appeal of working with Jack Bailey, premier twink fantasy and absolute sex machine. It was so much fun playing off each other in these roles, and for as much as I loved the script, the sex was a real highlight of my generally horny existence.”

Bailey agreed, saying, “It was the most romantic Next Door scene I’ve ever been in. Nico and I had amazing chemistry and it’s definitely a must see!”

Executive producer Jeremy Babcock added: “Once again, the production team and models knocked this one out of the park. Our Next Door Films line continues to be our playground to really flex our storytelling and cinematographic skills. Hats off to Walden, Conrad and the entire production team on this one.”

“This scene is really near and dear to my heart,” added King. “Obviously as a writer I’ve experienced writer’s block before, so being able to use that stuck feeling to create something new (and sexy!) was a lot of fun to experience.”

Next Door Films' other releases include "Weekend Getaway," starring Elliot Finn, Trevor Harris and Nico Coopa; "Just Curious," with Brandon Anderson and Andrew Miller; and "Paramour," featuring Trevor Harris and Jayden Marcos.
