SAN FRANCISCO—All summer long, NakedSword.com has celebrated its love of queer independent cinema with the Short Cuts Summer Film Festival and the addition of award-winning LGBTQ+ short films to its library of over 45,000 videos.
Now, the popular site is continuing this trend with the official start to the Short Cuts Fall Film Festival and the NakedSword.com premiere of Death Is Not the End of the World. Presented by Falcon | NakedSword X Breaking Glass Pictures, this Argentine short film is out now on NakedSword.com and will be the first of several top shorts added to the platform throughout the season.
Directed and written by Juan Pablo Cestaro, Death Is Not the End of the World centers on Luciano (Cestaro) and Pedro (Lucas Tresca) as the two meet each other again after many years apart. They meet due to a message that, at first, looked like an invitation, but then reveals itself as a door that will lead the night into a point of no return. Released last year, Death Is Not the End of the World was an official festival selection for Rozen Filmdagen Amsterdam 2023, Outshine Miami 2023, and Zinentiendo Zaragoza 2023.
