LOS ANGELES—While an atmospheric heat dome dominated most of the Southwest on Thursday, gay streaming platform Men.com brought the heat to LA, with its annual Summer Social held at the Kimpton Wilshire Blvd’s rooftop pool venue. The industry event was a cool, casual way to kick off the sexy summer season with many models and industry insiders in attendance and sweeping views of the Hollywood Hills on a beautiful, blue-sky day. The event also launched Men.com’s latest contract performer, Filou, who was warmly welcomed by an eye-popping roster of Men.com contract stars including Malik Delgaty, Joey Mills, Dom King, and Jake Preston, introduced by Liam Riley.
“I’m very excited. I’m very happy and I want to thank Men.com for giving me the opportunity to work together,” Filou told GayVN. “What I can say is I will not disappoint. I want to give my best and make happy my community and my followers.”
A sizzling debut scene for Men.com with model Ashton Summers, “Filou Goes Raw,” dropped last winter to rave reactions from fans and followers and resulted in an exclusive contract for the handsome bisexual French blonde.
Filou, who has lived in Miami for five years, had previously appeared for RawFuckClub.com, as well as in scenes for Reality Kings, Tushy, Bang Bros, and Private.
“I would love to work for Vixen” among other producers, he said.
A menu of drinks named for each of the Men.com exclusives was served, concocted to compliment the personalities of each performer. A potent mix of tequila, ginger, passionfruit, lime, and amontillado sherry was named after Cade Maddox, who said tequila is his favorite. His latest project for Men.com just wrapped, he told GayVN.
“I just finished a really big project with Men.com. I don't know how much I can say about it, but there's like a group scene and really cool duos. It's actually been my favorite project. I've been in the industry going on seven years now and it's been my favorite movie,” Maddox said.
“I don't know how much I'm supposed to tell you, but we're like in a bar, kinda like Coyote Ugly style, and there's like a mechanical bull in the bar... I’m a cowboy in the
movie, I got to wear a cowboy hat—you know, I’m from Mississippi, so, it was the first time I got to be a cowboy. I really enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to that coming out,” he added.
Maddox said he thinks fans will enjoy the quality of the production, as well as the movie’s sex scenes. “They really go above and beyond, this company, and it’s been a real pleasure working for them so far.”
Networking opportunities for attendees were punctuated by photo ops and dips in the pool, while a DJ kept the vibe light and breezy with a mix of disco, country, and hip hop.
“This party is amazing. We’re kicking off summer, kicking off Pride month,” said model Tony Genius, who had just returned to LA after attending One Magical Weekend and
Gay Days in Orlando, Florida. “I like to be out there for the fans, meet and greet people, and make sure people can see that I’m active and promoting Pride.”
It was the second time at the Summer Social event for content creators Nick Charms and Colt Spence, who took in the view and enjoyed casual cabana conversations.
“It’s great to network and talk to people in the industry, make some new friends, and have a few drinks. It’s great energy,” they said.
Newly signed Brazzers exclusive Kayley Gunner made an appearance, as well as popular starlets Lily Lou and Kasey Warner.
“I’m here for the boys,” Gunner laughed. “They’re so hot, I hope a few will go my way.”
