LOS ANGELES—Kenzie Taylor on Friday announced she is making her Disruptive Films directorial debut with The Good Samaritan, a new scene showcasing Roman Todd and Alpha Wolfe. The new scene can be viewed here.
“As a pansexual cisgender woman who loves gay porn and is also a performer, I felt like I could bring a new perspective to Disruptive Films,” Taylor, the seasoned actress, entrepreneur and adult star, said of her decision to move behind the camera for the popular site. "Directing gay content is a passion of mine, so when Disruptive approached me for a project, I was absolutely thrilled to write, direct, and produce The Good Samaritan for them.
"As someone deeply invested in both my personal brand and the quality of my performances, the role of a director holds immense significance for me. It allows me to harness my creative abilities to craft exceptional cinematic work, all while meticulously shaping the visual and performance aspects of the talented individuals I have the privilege of directing."
Winner of the 2020 AVN Award for Best Transgender One-on-One Sex Scene for her work with Aubrey Kate in Captain Marvel XXX: An Axel Braun Parody, Taylor continued, “Within the gay community, I find a profound sense of belonging, a place where I can authentically express myself without any fear of judgment. It is within this embracing environment that I draw inspiration for the atmosphere I aspire to cultivate on my sets. I envision a space characterized by unconditional acceptance, boundless encouragement, and the liberty to explore desires and artistic expressions safely, all in the pursuit of creating exceptional art. The scene I had the privilege to direct was a remarkable undertaking, one that pushed creative boundaries and explored uncharted territories.”
Of her cast, Taylor observed, “the realization of this vision owes a tremendous debt of gratitude to the exceptional talents of Roman Todd and Michael Wolfe. Their dedication, commitment, and exceptional performances brought to life the very essence of what I had imagined. I cannot overstate my appreciation for these two exceptional performers, whose unwavering contributions were pivotal in achieving our collective artistic goals. Equally deserving of recognition is my dedicated crew, whose tireless efforts ensured that every aspect of our project was executed with precision and passion.”
As The Good Samaritan begins, viewers encounter Charles (Todd), a fastidious and enigmatic man with a penchant to help and do good, especially when it comes to offering respite to unhomed people. When he sees Jude (Wolfe) on the street, he knows he wants to bring him home. Jude is suspicious of the offer, but it is better than the alternative. When Jude goes home with Charles, he's not sure what to expect, but he surely doesn't expect what he gets.
Beyond her cast and crew, the director was quick to extend her thanks to the studio for making her a part of their family. “As I reflect on this creative journey, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the collaborative spirit and unwavering dedication of Jessica Jazmyn and the entire team at Disruptive Films. It is their collective hard work and commitment to their craft that has made this project an unqualified success, and for that, I am deeply thankful. Together, we have brought our shared vision to life, and I look forward to many more opportunities to create meaningful and boundary-pushing art with this exceptional team.”
