Jake Deckard Named Raging Stallion's 2007 Man of the Year

Porn star Jake Deckard was named Raging Stallion Studios' 2007 Man of the Year by company president Chris Ward at the studio's annual Folsom Weekend Kick-Off Party.

The event, hosted by Ward and Raging Stallion partner Michael Brandon, drew an estimated 1,000 people to nightclub/ lounge Eight. Chi Chi LaRue was the party's deejay. This year the event also served as a release party for JD Slater's Centurion Muscle 3: Omega.

In making the announcement, Ward said, "Jake really has what it takes to be at the top of the industry — his performances are spectacular and men around the world look to him as a sexual pacesetter. I had many guys to select from this year: our stable of stars has never been better! I decided on Jake because of his charisma. He is a real star and his name is one that I am proud to place in the Raging Stallion pantheon of superstars."

Remy Delaine was the most-recent honoree and Miguel Leonn held the title just before him. Past winners include Dean Coulter (2000), Bryce Pierce (2001), Michael Brandon (2002), Tom Vacarro (2003), and Shane Rollins (2004).

Deckard, clearly thrilled to be named the studio's top performer, said that he was honored by the selection and is "very excited to be part of the Raging Stallion family. Finding the right fit is vital to success in this industry. Each video company has a distinct personality, and I have found the place where I belong. I am looking forward to my future video work with Raging Stallion, both in front of and behind the camera!"
